Hemel

In the Netherlands of the 2010s, Hemel (Hannah Hoekstra) moves through a string of lovers, and the film tells her story in chapters. Her father Gijs (Hans Dagelet), a dapper auctioneer, has dated a run of younger women since her mother died, and Sacha Polak follows how closely the two of them are bound. Then Gijs starts seeing Sophie (Rifka Lodeizen), and for the first time Hemel could lose the place she has always held with him.
