Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer

“He's not Freddy, he's not Jason...he's real.”

Henry (Michael Rooker) has come to Chicago with nowhere to be, and he takes a room with Otis (Tom Towles), an ex-con he knows from before. Otis's sister Becky (Tracy Arnold) turns up needing a place too, while Henry quietly teaches Otis how to kill. McNaughton shoots it on a low budget in flat, plain light, and nothing in the frame is dressed up to make it easier to watch.
