Herbie Goes Bananas

“Yes, We Have A Bananza!”

Davy Johns (Charles Martin Smith) drives Herbie, the sentient Volkswagen Beetle race car, to Mexico alongside his Aunt Louise (Cloris Leachman). Vincent McEveety follows them as Herbie befriends Paco, an orphan whose pickpocketing gets him tangled up with a trio of Incan gold thieves. Between Davy and Herbie there is a loyalty that no scheme or villain in the film can pry loose.
