Hercules in the Haunted World

“An All New Height in Fright and Might!”

Hercules (Reg Park) comes home from battle to find that Deianira (Leonora Ruffo), the woman he loves, has lost her senses. The oracle Medea says only the Stone of Forgetfulness can restore her, and it lies deep in the realm of Hades, so he sets out with Theseus (George Ardisson) and Telemachus. Mario Bava's film is built on a plain idea: the guardian who calls himself her protector, King Lico (Christopher Lee), is the man who wants her for himself.
