Villagers are vanishing, and the trail ends at a crack in the earth that drops straight down to Hades. Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) goes in after them, and the descent tests him as a man as much as a god, with Deianeira (Tawny Kitaen) among those waiting above. Bill L. Norton directs this fourth made-for-TV entry in the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys series with a plain adventure-serial energy.
