Here on Earth

“One summer totally changed their lives.”

Kelvin Morse (Chris Klein), a rich student, races a local kid named Jasper Arnold (Josh Hartnett) down a road and ends up wrecking a diner. A judge orders the two of them to spend the summer rebuilding it, working beside the owner's daughter, Samantha Cavanaugh (Leelee Sobieski). Mark Piznarski gives Kelvin the most to lose here, a boy who has always been able to pay his way out of trouble.
