Hereafter

“Touched by death. Changed by life.”

George Lonegan (Matt Damon) is a factory worker in San Francisco who can speak with the dead and wants nothing more to do with it. Elsewhere, Marie Lelay (Cécile de France), a French television journalist, comes back from a near-death experience in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, and a London schoolboy named Marcus loses the person closest to him. Clint Eastwood, who also composed the score, lets the three stories run apart for a long while before they touch.
