Hereditary

“Every family tree hides a secret.”

Annie Graham (Toni Collette) builds miniature rooms for a living, and after her mother's funeral she keeps building them, a grieving daughter with a secretive, difficult mother to account for. Ari Aster follows her, her husband Steve (Gabriel Byrne) and their children Peter (Alex Wolff) and Charlie (Milly Shapiro) as strange things start happening in the house. Annie sits at her worktable, a tiny version of that same house under her hands.
