“A modern retelling of Bawarchi”

Rajesh "Raju" Malhotra (Govinda) wants only to marry Meena Nath (Karisma Kapoor), and she wants the same. Her grandfather has refused him before ever meeting him, over an old quarrel with Raju's father. David Dhawan sends Raju into her family's house as a servant, where every day he stays, he risks being found out and losing her for good.
