“There is nothing more terrifying than the ninja... except death!”
In 1978, Ho To (Gordon Liu Chia-hui), a Chinese martial arts student, marries Kung Zi (Yuka Mizuno), a Japanese woman, and the two struggle to find any common ground. A string of misunderstandings over their different fighting traditions grows into an international incident. Lau Kar-leung sends Ho To against seven Japanese masters, one each for karate, samurai swordwork and ninjutsu, and he has to answer for his marriage with his fists.
