Heroic Losers

“They messed with the wrong losers.”

In a small town in the northwest of Buenos Aires province, a group of neighbors pools its savings to restart the local economy, led by Fermín Perlassi (Ricardo Darín) and Antonio Fontana (Luis Brandoni). Then the corralito freezes the country's bank accounts and a fraud takes what they put in. Sebastián Borensztein, working from Eduardo Sacheri's novel, leaves Fermín in the empty town, the shared money gone and his neighbors looking to him.
