Hey Good Lookin'

(1982)Directed by Ralph Bakshi77 min · RAnimation, Comedy, Drama
“Ralph Bakshi, creator of "Fritz the Cat" and "Heavy Traffic" brings you the outrageous '50s the way they really were.”

In 1953 Brooklyn, Vinnie (Richard Romanus) runs the Stompers, a gang of neighborhood hoods, with Crazy Shapiro (David Proval) as his right hand. Their girlfriends Rozzie and Eva are pulled along as the Stompers drift into a growing feud with a rival Black gang, the Chaplains, led by Boogaloo Jones. Ralph Bakshi drew all of it by hand, mixing live-action reference with animation to build the block.
