Hey Joe

In 1944, an American sailor named Dean Barry (James Franco) arrives in Naples, a city still smoking from the bombing. He meets Lucia, a young girl from the poorest part of the city, and falls hard for her. Two years later, when his service ends and he must sail back to New Jersey, she stays behind, pregnant and alone, and the weight of that choice settles into both their lives like the rubble that never fully clears from the streets.
