Hi, Are You Alone?

Niña (Silke), twenty, lives in Valladolid with her divorced father, a strict and conservative man who runs the household. Trini (Candela Peña) is the same age, her mother gone, and neither girl has anything left in the city or in their families. Icíar Bollaín's first feature follows them south toward the Costa del Sol on a trip with no plan, two young women who would rather risk being broke and stranded than stay put.
