High Art

“a story of ambition, sacrifice, seduction and other career moves.”

Syd (Radha Mitchell) is a young editor at an influential art magazine, stuck fetching coffee until she meets her neighbor upstairs. Lucy Berliner (Ally Sheedy) is a photographer who once mattered, now a drug user with a girlfriend, Greta (Patricia Clarkson), living in her apartment. Lisa Cholodenko, in her first feature, keeps the camera close and unhurried in their rooms.
