High Fidelity

Rob (John Cusack) is thirty, runs a record store in Chicago, and has just been left by his girlfriend Laura (Iben Hjejle). He sorts the damage the way he sorts his shelves, into a list of his top five breakups of all time. Stephen Frears follows him from one ex to the next while Rob tries to find out why he keeps losing, and whether Laura is still within reach.
