High Noon

“The story of a man who was too proud to run!”

Will Kane (Gary Cooper) has just married and hung up his badge when word comes that the outlaw he sent to prison is free and arriving on the noon train. Kane goes door to door in a small New Mexico town looking for men to stand with him, while the clock ticks on in real time under Fred Zinnemann's direction. His new wife, Amy (Grace Kelly), begs him to leave with her before the train comes in.
