High-Rise

“Leave the real world behind”

In a brand-new tower block in 1970s Britain, Dr. Robert Laing (Tom Hiddleston) buys a flat on the twenty-fifth floor and settles in among neighbors like Charlotte Melville (Sienna Miller). The building's designer, Anthony Royal (Jeremy Irons), lives in the penthouse above, and Ben Wheatley arranges the residents floor by floor, each level with its own manners. The film suggests that people sorted by height will soon enough fight over who sits above whom.
