(1941)Directed by Raoul Walsh100 minCrime, Drama, Action, Thriller
“HE KILLED... and there on the crest of Sierra's highest crag... HE MUST BE KILLED!”

Roy Earle (Humphrey Bogart) walks out of prison on a pardon and goes straight back to work, drawn into a jewel robbery at a swanky resort in California's Sierra Nevada. Raoul Walsh sends him up into the mountains with a crew of younger, jumpier men who haven't done time. Along the way Marie (Ida Lupino), a former taxi dancer, attaches herself to him, and he keeps trying to shake her loose.
