(2011)Directed by Vera Farmiga109 min · RDrama, Thriller

Corinne Walker (Vera Farmiga) wants a faith as certain as the one around her, in a close community of believers where she has settled into marriage to CW (John Hawkes) and a life among friends like Annika (Dagmara Dominczyk). Farmiga, directing for the first time, adapts Carolyn S. Briggs' memoir, This Dark World. Corinne keeps showing up and keeps praying, and the answer she is waiting for never quite comes.
