“All $$ ain't good $$.”

David King (Denzel Washington) runs a New York music empire and is known as the man with the best ears in the business. A ransom plot targets him, and with Paul Christopher (Jeffrey Wright) and Pam King (Ilfenesh Hadera) beside him, he faces a moral dilemma where the wrong choice costs a life. Spike Lee remakes Kurosawa's *High and Low*, and the clock on David's decision keeps running.
