Highway Patrolman

Pedro (Roberto Sosa) joins the Mexican highway patrol and finds the road already divided up, with his fellow officers taking cuts from drug runners and from every driver they pull over. Alex Cox follows him through the early patrols, alongside his friend Anibal (Bruno Bichir) and under Sargento Barreras (Pedro Armendáriz Jr.). Each small compromise Pedro makes to keep his job puts his own conscience at risk, and perhaps his life.
