“Seeing is Deceiving”

Ruby Ann Wattz (Ingvild Deila) wakes from a bad dream in a basement, both legs broken, with no memory of her name or how she got there. Her captor, Tom Allcroft (Stuart Mortimer), says she stays until she falls in love with him, and she spends her first days looking for a way out. Edward A Palmer keeps us in that one room with her: the basement, the broken legs, the man at the top of the stairs.
