Hiruko the Goblin

“Slam the door shut!”

Students at a school built over one of the Gates of Hell begin turning up beheaded. Hieda Reijirou (Kenji Sawada), an archaeology professor, and Masao Yabe (Masaki Kudou), a haunted student, start tracing the killings to Hiruko, a goblin sent to Earth on a scouting mission. Shinya Tsukamoto fills the school with the thing's work, severed heads fixed to spidery bodies that scuttle across the floor.
