Alana Higman (Hunter King) comes from a family obsessed with the Kansas City Chiefs, and they're locked in a tight contest for the team's Fan of the Year award. The judge is Derrick Taylor (Tyler Hynes), the Chiefs' newly hired director of fan engagement, who begins showing up at their holiday gatherings to evaluate their devotion. As Alana and Derrick grow closer, she risks losing either the prize her family has worked toward or the person who came to judge them.
