Hollow Triumph

“Love couldn't hide the secret of his past...or shield them for the end of their future!”

A man named John Muller (Paul Henreid) robs a gambler's casino and finds out that the people he stole from have no intention of letting him go. His way out is a stranger's name, Dr. Bartok, and Steve Sekely follows him into that borrowed life. Evelyn Hahn (Joan Bennett) is there too, but the film is about how far a person can wear another man's identity before there's nothing of his own left to go back to.
