Holy Smoke

“He had only one thing on his mind... but so did she!”

Ruth Barron (Kate Winslet) is a young Australian woman who comes home from India sure of her new guru and unwilling to hear a word against him. Her family flies in PJ Waters (Harvey Keitel), an American cult de-programmer, to break her faith in a remote desert hideaway. Jane Campion sets the two of them in a room together, and the film becomes a contest over who gets to decide what a person believes.
