Holy Spider

Rahimi (Zar Amir Ebrahimi) is a journalist from Tehran who comes to the holy city of Mashhad to look into the murders of street sex workers by a man the press calls the Spider Killer. Ali Abbasi, working from the true case of Saeed Hanaei, follows her through the city's back streets while a killer who thinks he is cleansing the city goes on choosing women. The police move slowly, and each new body raises the risk to the women on those streets and to Rahimi herself.
