Hombre

“Hombre means man... Paul Newman is Hombre!”

A stagecoach rolls out with passengers who want nothing to do with the man riding along, John Russell (Paul Newman), because he was raised by Indians. Martin Ritt keeps the coach crowded with Dr. Alex Favor (Fredric March) and the others, until outlaws led by Cicero Grimes (Richard Boone) leave them stranded and dependent on him. Every one of them has to decide whether to trust the one person they have spent the whole trip looking down on.
