“Earth just got a little stranger.”

One morning the humans are simply gone, relocated by the Boov, an alien race that has claimed Earth as its new home and started rearranging it. One girl slipped through, Tip (Rihanna), and she ends up traveling with Oh (Jim Parsons), a Boov who has been banished by his own kind. Tim Johnson sends the two fugitives on a road trip where much more rides on them than a single escape.
