“A long shot romance in a short order world.”

Sally Jackson (Drew Barrymore) is pregnant and working the window at a fast-food drive-through, serving the same town that knows whose baby she carries. After a helicopter chase ends with their stepfather dead, Dorian Montier (Luke Wilson) starts watching her to cover for his brother Angus (Jake Busey) and himself. Dean Parisot lets that watching turn into love, even as Dorian's own mother, Beatrice (Catherine O'Hara), has other plans for Sally.
