“Some memories are best forgotten.”

In 2008, Reverend David Poe (Adrian Pasdar) and his psychiatrist wife Clare (Cady McClain) leave New York for a rural farmhouse, where their ten-year-old twins, Jack and Emily, have room to run and play. David films it all, every holiday and family occasion, and the tapes begin to show a malice in the children. Christopher Denham, in his directorial debut, keeps to the handheld camera, which David holds up in front of his own family.
