At a German high school, Jakob Moormann (Jonas Nay) is a shy outsider who spends his days watching Hannah (Sophia Boehme) from a distance and his evenings in a house where his father Claas (Wotan Wilke Möhring), a uniformed cop, and his mother are busy splitting up. Kilian Riedhof follows what happens once a private video of Jakob reaches Henry (Jannik Schümann). After Claas learns of it, the father and son have to find some way to speak to each other.
