Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

Wayne Szalinski (Rick Moranis), a struggling inventor, has built a machine that projects energy in ways he doesn't fully understand. When his latest experiment misfires, his children and the neighbors' kids shrink to a quarter-inch tall and get swept outside into the trash. Now the children must navigate a backyard transformed into an alien landscape, where a garden hose becomes a river and their house looms impossibly distant across the grass.
