Honeydripper

“This Better Be Some Saturday Night!”

In 1950s Alabama, harvest time is coming and Tyrone Purvis (Danny Glover) is losing customers at the Honeydripper, the juke joint he owns. Against his better judgment, he hires a young electric guitarist in a last effort to fill the room. John Sayles keeps the focus on Tyrone and Delilah (LisaGay Hamilton), who stands beside him as the money runs thin.
