“Lord help us.”

A scandal has emptied the pews at Wander to Greater Paths, and no one will say plainly what the pastor did. Trinitie Childs (Regina Hall), his wife, is determined to fill the church again, and she lets a documentary crew follow her and Lee-Curtis (Sterling K. Brown) as they plan a grand reopening. Adamma Ebo shoots it as a mockumentary, letting the camera linger on the Childses' smiles after the cameras should have stopped.
