Hooper

“Ain't nobody can fly a car like Hooper!”

In 1978 Hollywood, Sonny Hooper (Burt Reynolds) is still the top name among stunt men, though his spine has taken too many hard landings and he swallows painkillers several times a day to keep working. Hal Needham fills the film with the crews who fall off buildings and flip cars for the camera, including Delmore "Ski" Shidski (Jan-Michael Vincent). Sonny knows he should quit before the next impact leaves him permanently disabled.
