Hope

Nobody can say whether the lost treasure in the desert is real, but Cabbar (Yılmaz Güney), an illiterate horse cab driver, believes the stories about it. His horse is dead in an accident, and with one animal left he has nothing to pull a living from. Yılmaz Güney, who also directs, follows him out of town, and Cabbar walks on, a small dark figure alone on pale ground.
