Hope Gap
Grace (Annette Bening) has lived for twenty-nine years in a quiet British seaside town, in a marriage she believes is sound, until her husband Edward (Bill Nighy) tells her he is leaving for another woman. Their son Jamie (Josh O'Connor) comes home and ends up standing between them. William Nicholson, adapting his own stage play, keeps the film mostly to kitchens and rooms where two people talk.
