Hope Springs

“The problem every man dreams of... a choice.”

Hope, Vermont, is a tiny New England town where Colin Ware (Colin Firth), a British painter, lands after his fiancée Vera (Minnie Driver) tells him she is marrying another man. He is miserable at first. Mark Herman then puts him in the care of his innkeepers, the Fishers, who introduce him to Mandy (Heather Graham), a nurse. What matters here is that a heartbroken man can start over among strangers who simply make room for him.
