Hopeless

“Hope is nowhere to be found.”

Yeon-gyu (Hong Xa-bin) is a teenage boy in a town where neighbors settle things with their fists, and all he wants is to get out and live quietly with his mother. When he needs help from an adult, Chi-geon (Song Joong-ki), a local thug, offers a favor, and Kim Chang-hoon follows what that small kindness starts to cost him. Each visit to Chi-geon's world pulls the boy closer, and the man who seems to be helping him begins to feel like the only one who sees him.
