Hopscotch

(1980)Directed by Ronald Neame104 min · RComedy, Adventure
“The most dangerous man in the world. He's about to expose the CIA, the FBI, the KGB ... and himself.”

Miles Kendig (Walter Matthau) is a veteran CIA operative who lets a KGB rival named Yaskov (Herbert Lom) walk away, and his boss answers by threatening to retire him. Kendig quits first, wipes his own files, and settles in Austria to write a memoir that would lay out everything the agency has done in secret. Ronald Neame sends agents after him across the globe, while Isobel (Glenda Jackson) is the one person he can't quite shake.
