Hornblower: The Duchess and the Devil

Acting Lieutenant Hornblower (Ioan Gruffudd) is escorting the Duchess of Wharfedale (Cherie Lunghi) when the enemy captures his crew, and she turns out to be carrying secrets of her own. Andrew Grieve sends him up against Don Massaredo (Ronald Pickup), with Captain Pellew (Robert Lindsay) also caught up in the trouble. It is a young officer learning that duty and honor point different ways once someone else's secret is in his keeping.
