Horror Castle

“Women's virtues made him a killer!”

Women are being tortured to death in the dungeon of an old castle by a hooded figure who may be a medieval executioner. Mary Hunter (Rossana Podestà) arrives as the new bride of Max (Georges Rivière), and the caretaker Erich (Christopher Lee) watches her settle in. Antonio Margheriti, working under the name Anthony Dawson, keeps the camera low in the stone corridors and lets the torture devices sit in plain view.
