Horrors of the Black Museum

(1959)Directed by Arthur Crabtree81 minHorror
“It Actually Puts YOU In The Picture - Can You Stand It?”

London is hit by a string of murders that the police cannot explain, and Superintendent Graham (Geoffrey Keen) works the case with little to go on. The one man who seems to know more than he should is Edmond Bancroft (Michael Gough), a writer of murder mysteries. Arthur Crabtree shot it in color and CinemaScope, but the film's real subject is how thin the line is between telling a story about death and wanting to see it done.
