“Can this city guy and his cowboy cousin saddle up to save the ranch?”

Michael Woods (Joey Lawrence) never explains why he brushed off his rancher cousin back in Los Angeles, and his parents don't wait for an answer. Their verdict is a month on the ranch with that cousin and their aunt, which Greg Beeman sets up as a punishment Michael plainly didn't see coming. He steps off the plane as a guest nobody asked for, with four weeks to fill and nothing in his hands.
