Hot Air

“We all have a voice. Just be careful how you use it.”

Lionel Macomb (Steve Coogan) is a conservative talk radio host who makes his living being loud about what's wrong with other people. His sixteen-year-old niece Tess (Taylor Russell) turns up in his life without warning, and she is biracial, which doesn't fit the picture he sells on air. Frank Coraci keeps Lionel at the microphone and at home, a man who has always had an answer and is now facing a niece whose arrival his worldview has no answer for.
