“One summer can change everything.”

In the summer of 1991, Daniel Middleton (Timothée Chalamet), a sheltered teenager, is sent to Cape Cod and starts selling pot to the wrong crowd. Elijah Bynum, making his directorial debut, ties the money to Hunter Strawberry (Alex Roe) and his sister McKayla (Maika Monroe), whom Daniel can't stop looking at. Daniel spends the season in a haze of parties and first love, keeping his eyes on McKayla while the summer around him goes on.
