Hotel Rwanda

“When the world closed its eyes, he opened his arms.”

As the genocide begins in Rwanda in 1994, hotel manager Paul Rusesabagina (Don Cheadle) opens the Hôtel des Mille Collines to Tutsi neighbors with nowhere else to go. Terry George keeps the story inside the building, where more than a thousand people crowd the rooms while Paul bargains with the officials outside. Paul's wife Tatiana (Sophie Okonedo) is a Tutsi herself, and every choice he makes is also a choice about her.
