House of Mortal Sin

“The Devil in Priest's clothing!”

In 1976 London, Jenny Welch (Susan Penhaligon) goes to confession at her local church and speaks to Father Xavier Meldrum (Anthony Sharp). He listens closely and begins to follow her, then uses what she told him to reach into the rest of her life. Pete Walker's film puts Jenny, her sister Vanessa (Stephanie Beacham) and a young priest, Father Bernard Cutler (Norman Eshley), in the way of a man who will use blackmail and murder to keep her near.
